This year we’ve published iterations of our Closed/Paused Spaces Project and the Contemporary Art Quarterly archives of Monica Majoli, Suse Weber and Kerstin Brätsch and added hundreds of thousands of images to Contemporary Art Library. To fund next year’s efforts, please make a donation right now.
Closed/Paused Spaces 2024
Robert Prime (exhibition invites)
Contemporary Art Library is pleased to announce the 2nd annual release of our closed/paused spaces project, which collects and archives the exhibition histories of galleries that are no longer in operation. For the full list of closed/paused spaces please visit the directory.
This will be an ongoing project, so if you know of or have access to the archives of an important closed contemporary art space, please contact Nora so we can bring it into the Library.
Thank you to all those who have allowed us to preserve their archives this year!
